About Sophie Okonedo
Sophie stormed our screens in BBC1's exceptionally tense drama series Undercover and starred with Benedict Cumberbatch in The Hollow Crown, the BBC's Shakespearean masterpiece. She has received Academy and Tony Awards, and BAFTA and Golden Globe Nominations. Her performances opposite Damian Lewis in The Goat and our Ben Whishaw in the Crucible on Broadway received the highest critical plaudits. Sophie is a documentary narrator extraordinaire. This body of work includes BBC Thailand Wildlife series, HBO's Ebola, Ch4's The Stranger On The Bridge, and hit country music feature Wild Rose. Since being seen alongside Kenneth Branagh in his Agatha Christie adaptation, Death On The Nile, Sophie's recent works include: Heart of Stone for Netflix, and two series of Apple TV's Slow Horses.
