About Robert Lindsay

My Family was the most popular sitcom ever for the BBC. A household name, first as Citizen Smith then Ben Harper, Robert’s episode of Extras - playing himself - was one of the funniest of the series. In Dirty Rotten Scoundrels he brought charm and verve and his performance as Archie Rice in The Entertainer was praised as a "magnificent star performance".

The wonderful Robert Lindsay has joined the cast of Maleficent 2, alongside Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning who will be reprising their roles as the dark fairy Maleficent and Princess Aurora.

The sequel picks up several years after Maleficent. That film followed the events that drove Maleficent to curse baby Princess Aurora. Maleficent II continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen, as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.
