About Luke Treadaway
Luke survived torture in Sky's hugely successful Fortitude. He was the National Theatre's million-dollar man, playing lead in two of the most successful shows in the theatre's history, as Albert in the original production of War Horse (seen by over four million people worldwide and the inspiration for a Spielberg movie), then as Christopher in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which won a record seven Olivier Awards – including one for Luke as Best Actor. From a posh stoner in Attack the Block to a prisoner of war in the Coen brothers-scripted Second World War drama Unbroken and topping the bill in A Street Cat Named Bob. His ensemble work in Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf was blisteringly compulsive viewing. Recently seen in The Singapore Grip, another British drama from the makers of Poldark and Victoria, Luke can now add Cabaret to his list of credits as he starred in the Kit Kat Club as The Emcee.
