Australian actor Brendan sent his mum a picture of 2 posters next to each other, cause he starred in both productions at the Young Vic - as Billie Piper's husband in Yerma and magnificently in the title role of Brecht's Galileo. Oh yes and he's in G.O.T. More recent credits include: The Current War & Press (BBC) He can soon be seen in the upcoming Avatar Sequels.

Brendan Cowell hailed as "magnificent" in the title role of this Bertolt Brecht play, which tells the story of a scientific visionary. The production was directed by Atonement director Joe Wright at the Young Vic Theatre, a theatre which has become something of a second home for Brendan. Winner of the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and The Relentless Award, playwright Clare Barron’s explosive new play Dance Nation makes its UK debut this summer at the Almeida Theatre, starring our brilliant Brendan Cowell and Manjinder Virk.
Directed by Bijan Sheibani, Dance Nation takes place "somewhere in America", with a revolution around the corner. An army of competitive dancers is ready to take over the world, one routine at a time. With a pre-teen battle for power and perfection raging on and off stage, Dance Nation is a ferocious exploration of youth, ambition and self-discovery.
Brendan stars as Dance Teacher Pat and Manjinder plays Connie.

The six-part show is been written by playwright-turned-screenwriter Mike Bartlett, known for writing Suranne Jones' dramatic marital saga, Doctor Foster.
Directing the episodes is Tom Vaughan, who has worked on Victoria, Doctor Foster, The Royals and Endeavour.
Press will air on Thursdays with the first episode confirmed to begin on Thursday 6th September at 9pm on BBC1.
