About Aaron Pierre
Whether it's as the captivating Caesar in Barry Jenkins' adaptation of Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer-winning novel, The Underground Railroad, or as a series regular in the Superman prequel series, Krypton, Aaron's on-screen presence makes it hard for you to focus on anything else. He has appeared in ITV’s Prime Suspect prequel ‘1973‘ and Jez Butterworth’s ‘Britannia‘ for Sky Atlantic. He received an Ian Charleson Award Nomination in 2018 for his performance in Othello at the Globe, and featured in M. Night Shyamalan's supernatural thriller: Old. He is soon to be heard as Mufasa in Barry Jenkins' highly anticipated prequel to The Lion King in which Mufasa's story is explored in more depth.
